Infant Room Enhancements Coming Soon
Exciting changes are coming to infant rooms across the country!
We are in the midst of replacing all cribs manufactured before 2011 in phases with project completion targeted for September 2012.
For specific information about the guidelines for infant cribs, please visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at
http://www.cpsc.gov/.
We tested several types of cribs that meet the CPSC’s new standards.
Infant teachers in our pilot programs said that SafeReach cribs, made by Foundations, were the best,
as their design allowed staff to safely lift children in and out of the cribs without risking injury to themselves or the infant.
These new fixed-side, natural finish cribs will help us continue to deliver high-quality care to your child.
These new infant cribs are just one of the ways we promote child safety and wellness in addition to creating the best possible
classroom experience for our children, teachers and parents.
We’re doing our best to ensure minimal disruption for our children, families and each center’s day-to-day routine
as we make these enhancements. As we replace the cribs currently in our centers, we will work with local recycling agencies
to recycle the old cribs, mattresses and sheets.
Our cribs are professionally assembled and regularly maintained to ensure the safety and security of all of our children.
